Exam Simulator
VTSimu provides the exam engine, not certification questions. Obtain properly licensed
.vts files from reputable training providers or create your own content when VTS Exam Designer becomes available.No. The simulator is free to use and does not require an account. Download the desktop application, open a compatible exam file, and begin practicing.
You can install the free simulator on multiple compatible computers. Keep your exam files and backups organized separately on each device.
Yes. Open the application and choose Help, then Contents, to view the built-in guidance for sessions, settings, results, and file management.
On Windows, close VTSimu and copy the folder at
C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\VTSimuEngine\ to a secure backup location. Restore it only after closing the application.Visit the download section for current macOS availability and requirements. The page lists the supported operating system version and installer.
VTSimu uses the
.vts format. A single portable file can contain questions, answer data, and related media for an exam.Exam Designer
The planned Designer workflow uses a VTSimu account for access and product management. The final account requirements will be confirmed when the product launches.
In the planned workflow, choose New Exam or File > New, enter the title and description, add questions, and save the project as a
.vts file.Yes. Open an existing compatible file, add or revise questions, then save the updated exam. Keep a backup before editing important content.
Planned formats include single and multiple choice, drag and drop, hotspot, fill in the blank, matching, and ordered-list questions.
A structured text import is planned. The final import templates and validation rules will be documented with the Designer release.
Use Exam Simulator to take and review practice exams. Use Exam Designer to create, edit, organize, and export the exam content opened by the simulator.

VTSimu is designed for desktop study on Windows and macOS. There is currently no Android or iOS version listed.

Yes. The desktop simulator is offered without a subscription, hidden fee, or in-app purchase. Exam content may be supplied separately by third-party training providers.
